A 4 months game project with a focus on the narration

ABOUT THE GAME

N°43  is a 3D puzzle game on PC. The game targets beginner players by not stressing out them with timing and let them play at the pace they want. 

You embody a test subject that awake in a strange place with no memory and a prosthetic arm. Trapped, confused, the only way to get out is to use the power it grants you : telekinesis. As you continue to use it  some of your memories resurface.

 

What truth is hidden behind this? What faith will you choose? Try to discover it through the different end proposed by N°43 .

POST MORTEM

This project is the first big one that I had to work on in school. I had to learn a lot of stuff in a short amount of time, and also figured out some unexpected circumpstances that can happen during a project of this type.

I learned to evaluate the possibilities we had within a given time limit, the abilities of each people in the group and to react and adapt to those differents situations.
 

Though now, with our experience, we realize that this project could be enhanced a lot with our current programming skills, a better guidance of the player around the levels and a rework of the signs and feedbacks.

Overall, even if the result can look clumsy in some aspects, the great involvement in the team managed to get him out of the ground.
